How applicable is biology to social and cognitive psychology?

If you’ve already done most of what you think will be covered in Biology 101 and 102, I suggest taking the subject you actually want to take. We have a different system here in the UK, and my Psychology course didn’t require a Science grade, which I was grateful of because I’m not great at it, but I found that a little strange. However, all the biology we need in relation to Psychology is covered in the subject, and so far I’ve not had much trouble understanding it. The main points covered in Psychology are the functions of the brain, hormones, and genes (e.g. how mental illnesses can be passed down).
