How and where should the Trigger be mounted?

The Trigger can be attached anywhere on the bottom of the bike, as close to the ground as possible. With the Original, we include a cable tie and a pad of adhesive tape to make it less subject to vibration and jarring; the High Power version is held on by a strip of 3M industrial adhesive, the kind used to hold buildings together! Still, many of our customers prefer to add the extra securty of a cable tie to tha tape, so the Flux Isolation Base is grooved to accept a tie. Probably the best mounting point is on a bike’s center stand cross brace: it’s low and easy to inspect. Another good spot is right on the bottom of a front fork tube. In any case, it should be installed flat face down and the unit should preferably be parallel to the length of the bike. Do not mount the Trigger in a location that will get very hot (like near the exhaust headers).
