How and when will the zonal market be turned off?
When the Nodal Market goes live, zonal operations will cease with only settlement remaining. Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) are to maintain zonal system submittals for the first 7-days upon “Go-Live” and keep zonal systems available through the first 30 days at which point they may be shutdown (See Go-Live Procedures on the Nodal Readiness website for more details). Settlement will continue for 180 days plus any remaining time to resolve disputes.
