How and when was Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Europe established?
The company was originally founded in 1992. As INRI UK Ltd, it was the UK-based, overseas subsidiary of International Research Institute, Inc. (INRI), a company with a distinguished record in developing systems for the US Department of Defense and other departments and agencies of the US government. The primary mission of INRI UK was to make exportable products available to US Allies in order to facilitate the interoperability that is essential for effective coalition and other multinational operations. In September 1998, INRI was acquired by Northrop Grumman and placed within the Information Technology sector company which at that time was called Logicon, Inc. This change of ownership strengthened the UK company’s position in the European market and greatly increased the range of IT products and services that it offers.
