How and when do I start litter training my kittens?
I found that when we had a couple kittens born in our house, we put them in the spare bedroom with food and water. On the opposite side of the room we put a small litter box on a few sheets of newspaper, it was short enough that they were able to get in and explore, before we knew it, they were just using on their own. The mother was still using the main litter box in our laundry room, but the kittens were able to explore, and the litter itself has the smell that attracts them to use it. Let them snoop around, and they’ll get the idea, but I’d put some newspaper down around it in case they have any accidents.
