How active is the mailing list?
A. The mailing list is so active, you would not believe how active it is. Just thinking about it makes me want to lie down. It is not unheard of to start out the day with sixty or seventy messages, and to receive half a dozen more while reading those. Fortunately, that’s somewhat on the high end of its activity scale. If you do not have the time for that, it is a good idea to get the digest version, in which all the posts are compacted into a single mail for the day. To receive the digest after signing onto the list, send to LISTSERV@HOME.EASE.LSOFT.COM the message set wnn digest and it should change you over; if that does not work, contact list curling champion Aaron Dickey (kieran@interport.net, aaron@river.org) or list archon Rose Ellen Auerbach (auerbach@cats.ucsc.edu) and ask for help.
