How accurate is the ion ratio forecast compared to actual ion ratio data?
In six months of data the forecast has shown an accuracy of above 70%. The first five weeks of Year 2000 displayed an accuracy of 85% until solar activity began to influence the ion ratio and override the forecast on given days. The ion ratio forecast has similar degree of accuracy as a weather forecast.
