How accurate is EasyBlank? What if the blank needs to be developed through multiple stages?
A. EasyBlank assumes the part is formed entirely in a single stage from a 100% developed blank. If this is not the same process that will be tooled, the blank needs to be developed virtually through each forming stage for an accurate result. However, in all cases, EasyBlank gives a quick and approximate blank shape which can be used for quotation and initial blank shape purposes.
