How accurate is BBT in predicting ovulation?
I used it orally for a few months and fertilityfriend.com couldnt see a clear and sustained temp rise so I started taking it vaginally which can be more accurate as it is not affected by mouth breathing and other factors. It helped me determine that I wasnt ovulating which led me to see an obgyn who confirmed my suspicions. I would try to be as consistent as you can be when it comes to the time you wake up. Inconsistent waking times can affect your chart and make a temperature spike hard to see. I also recommend taking them vaginally. You can use disposable thermometer covers. The basal method really helped me understand and get in tune with my body and I highly recommend it. Good luck!
