How accurate is a Valuation?
A. An independent market valuation by an expert local Valuer will generally be very accurate. The valuation is still however opinion based, but the opinion you are relying on is professional, and comes with years of training, (often with tertiary education) and market experience. The valuation exercise is Not an exact science your property may sell for a price slightly different to the valuation, yet still the valuation should be close to the mark. Somewhere between 5-10% variance is considered acceptable in the market, and often the variance is towards the lower end.
