How accurate are home pregnancy tests a month after giving birth?

0

Pregnancy tests are just as accurate after birth then they are before. After you give birth your body still retains pregnancy homones for up to a couple weeks so a test could read positive even if your not pregnant. The fact that its saying negative means two things either your not pregnant or its still to early for the test to work meaning you just concieved and your body is not producing enough hormones to register on the test. When you get your period back depends on many things, are you breastfeeding or bottle feeding…breastfeeding moms tend to go longer before they get a period. Also we are all different, different cycles, hormones, body types so that is all a factor.
