How accepting are the Irish, Scottish, and English of American Immigrants?

We are very accepting in our own little way. We’re not like the Americans, in that, we don’t say hello to people in the street or strike up a conversation with people on a bus (which happened to me holiday, I thought it was a one-off but everyone is very sociable) . But anyway- yes we are accepting.

Lol i’m English and we’re accepting to all who are a benefit to our society. We could do with some good teachers so i think you and your wife will be welcome. There isn’t much animosity towards Americans or anything.

So long as you aren’t ignorant and think you are superior to us you will be accepted by the English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh

The Brits are very accepting of most immigrants. Particularly if they come over here to work. Seriously.

The Irish, Welsh and Scots accept anyone except the English. Most English are open to immigrants who work!
