How about getting or catching a shining starter pokemon such as Carmander,Bulbasaur or Squartutle?
Answer You won’t be able to get a Shining Pokemon as a starter — as I stated earlier, the Shining Pokemon random code only applies when you are going to battle against a Pokemon you can capture.
