hour shift at work and no break. what would u do?
It’s illegal to work that long without a break. If you work more than six hours, the law is that you must have a 20 minute break. Have a look at the link below to verify this. Now, I agree that it most definitely is the wrong time to go and look for a new job, but when it is your employer that is in the wrong then you shouldn’t have to just run away anyway. I advise that you simply explain to your employer that they are breaking the law. There must be a supervisor or someone that could cover you for this 20 minutes.
