Honeybee Killer Shooting Video: Was Gary Amaya the Killer?
The so-called “Honeybee Killer” may be dead after a shooting in Orland Park, Illinois. Gary Amaya was shot while trying to rob a L.A. Tan location after a customer, Jason McDaniel, walked into the shop and managed to disarm him. Authorities have reason to believe that Amaya was the Honeybee Killer, but have yet to give official confirmation. It has been reported that the gun Amaya used in the robbery matches the gun used in the Honeybee killings. The death of Gary L. Amaya may bring an end to a crime spree that included three shootings, one of which proved fatal. The Honeybee Killer earned his name because he allegedly asked his victims strange questions, including one about honeybees. On Saturday, Amaya tried to rob the tanning salon, tying up a female employee. Jason McDaniel initially tried to reason with Amaya offering him $600.
