My 2003 Honda Accord V-6 has a automatic transmission problem. The car works fine in 1st, 2nd and Drive but it won’t shift into the D-3 gear. If you lock it in 2nd and accelerate up to 40 MPH and then put it into Drive and let off it will slowly shift into Drive. After you are in Drive it will shift down to D-3 for passing. Does anyone know what the problem is and is it a simple fix or do I need a complete transmission rebuild?
