My husband and I recently did some research to find a better rate on our homeowner’s insurance and found what we believed to be an excellent rate. The agent came out 4 months ago, took photos of our home, call us and quoted us a rate and we went in and transferred to them hastily. Today I get a call from our agent unfolding us that the company our policy was issued from is cancelling our policy on January 5th due to “pre-existing damage” on our home. Apparently the agent said that he took several photos, note that he had noticed a 12 foot long piece of vinyl siding be missing at the top of our 2 story home (blew off during a recent storm) but he purposely took an alternate photo that did not show the damage and that be the photo he had intended to send surrounded by…
