Internet Explorer tries to keep track of the location and identity of each toolbar add-in that you have installed. Unfortunately, sometimes after installing or uninstalling a toolbar, Internet Explorer gets confused about which toolbar is which. In these situations, when you check or uncheck a toolbar item on the View.Toolbars menu, the actual toolbar which is shown or hidden is not the one that you checked. How can I fix this problem?
