Home Childcare Providers: Annoying Parents?
I don’t understand all the people who are suggesting you put your childcare duties on hold so you can take cute pictures of the children. So not necessary. I wouldn’t do it and if parents want that type of thing they can send their kids to a center that offers 24 hour surveillance cameras. Tell parents that they are welcome to call to check in, but it must be limited to once a day so that you can be 100% available to the children. As for staying too long when they pick up their kids…Tell them that the other kids have a hard time when they see other parents hanging out….so it would work best if they did a quick drop off and pick up.
