Hignbeam indicator light on 2000 nissan frontier not working ?

2000 nissan frontier hign beam indicator light not lit when high beam is on. Removed cluster and replaced bulb with working bulb, still not working when highbeam is engaged. The highbeam works but no indicator light. Fuses are not blown. A: That’s odd. Have you swapped out the combination switch (lever for the lights, blinkers, etc…) Other than that, I’m not sure.
