Hi there, I’m 19 years old looking for £1500 to buy my first car. I am full time employed – would I be a suitable candidate for finance?

Hi Andrew – For people under 21, car finance lenders look for electoral roll trace and at least one or two active credit accounts (e.g. a mobile phone and a credit card) on which payments have been kept up to date. If you have missed any payments we’d need a joint hirer (preferably a parent) on the application with you.

What is your question?
