Hi, I was wondering if there was anyway to use an Mp3 transfered from my PC to my phone as a Text message tone/alert?

Make sure that you have chosen Modem as the use for the USB Setting. And now the Mac. First, visit Ross Barkman’s page at http://www.taniwha.org.uk/ and download his GENERIC 3G SCRIPTS, about 2/3 of the way down the page. Unzip/open this file and put the two scripts (Generic 3G CID1 and Generic 3G CID2) in /Library/Modem Scripts/. Second, make sure that you have removed any settings in the Network panel, in System Preferneces (Network Control Panel) that you have created for this phone. If you can’t remove the settings or the “Samsung….something” port listing, open the file /Library/Prefernces/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist in a text editor (BBEdit or TextEdit). Search for “Samsung” when you find it, scroll up a few lines and look for something like
