Hi, I have defaulted on one account due to bank charges – which Im currently disputing. Can I still apply for a loan and be accepted?

Hi Jonathon, as long as you have other credit accounts on which you have kept up with repayments we should be able to get you accepted. Lenders will take a view on when the default occurred and what has been done since to sort the situation out. They also take into account your electoral roll trace, affordability for the lend and how much deposit you are putting into the deal. We’ll need to see your credit profile before making a definite decision but we do have lenders who will work with people with bank defaults.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
