Hi, I have a 5 year old deaf cat who meows constantly while I am away at work.?
One thing you could try is to give her a piece of clothing that you have worn to sleep on and to snuggle up to,this is something i do with cats and they feel so much comfort from it,having you body scent on it helps calm them down so perhaps try that, a kitten is something to consider but think carefully as a deaf cat may get startled by a kitten jumping up on to her,wait until she is settled then maybe but at a time when you have time to be at home while they get used to one another, but try the clothing for her to snuggle up to most cats love this,its a comfort hope this helps.
