Hey I just heard a song from the 70s, 90s or one of todays top hits. Whats up with that?
Well, I believe the original STAR did take some liberties by playing some songs from the late 70’s (78-79) and some songs from the 90’s (90-91) like Duran Duran’s Ordinary World. However, between midnight and 5am Eastern time we also sprinkle the broadcast with songs from Today (late 90’s to present), with about 2 per hour. Also, on Friday nights, Flounder has returned to STAR 107.9 and he’s brought the “Friday Night STAR Party” where he plays party hits from the 80’s and disco 70’s.
