Hey Geneva, does the Swiss Army flag fold up into itself?
In our quest to find rare and unusual items around the globe comes this rare Sled discovery. Something Prancer and Rudolph would want to pull over the white stuff on a pre-holiday practice run. Go ahead. Hitch up horsey and ride captain, ride! Whether you choose the Flat Bed or Cargo Box style, both Sleds are elegantly crafted and handmade. They were used by Swiss military horsemen during the 1940s era to transport food, ammo and supplies to remote outposts in the dead of winter that were impossible to reach by vehicles. In the day, the neutral Swiss kept a watchful eye on their borders as WWII raged at their doorstep. Sleds were also basic transportation in post WWII. They glide effortlessly over snow! Details for both: • Serial numbers are present (Flat Bed model is dated) • Elegantly crafted, heirloom-quality construction of wood and steel. Built to last a lifetime • Come with 2 large wooden poles (10 1/4’l. x 2 1/4″ thick) for horse hookup • Bed is almost 3′ wide (35 1/2″) x 5 1/2′
