care. I have seen the difference of teaching in this manner. I see kids, even lower level kids, succeed. I am excited. I have been teaching for 25 years. I have never seen anything like this. IF the universities would accept this new method, they would see a big difference in the way students view a language. In Michigan 70% of the universities’ placement tests is grammar. This WAS how I was preparing my students. NO MORE!! No, I will not complete the 12 tenses of French by the end of third year. (I knew them by the end of 2 years of French in 1968).
