• Must be at least 21 years of age. • Must be a US Citizen or non-citizen with lawful alien status • You will need to go to the Clarke County Circuit Court located at 102 N. Church St. in Berryville VA (540-955-5116). The clerks will assist you in filling out your application, if this is a new permit. • Pay the fee with the Circuit Court Clerk. They will give you a receipt and direct you to the Sheriff’s Office to be fingerprinted. • Fingerprinting is available on Mondays 8:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. (Please refer to the Sheriff’s Office Policy below), unless Monday is a holiday. Then fingerprinting will be done on Tuesday of that week.
