Your depression is caused by physical circumstances, so you’re going to have to address it with a physical solution. First, sleeping 12 hours a day will make you depressed. You need to force yourself to wake up in the morning after, at most, 8 hours. It will be really difficult at first, but once you get into a routine, you should be okay. Second, when you wake up, force yourself to go eat breakfast, start the day, shower. Just doing these normal things will get your blood pumping and your blood sugar up.
