Cassettes are going the way of the 8 track;dead as a dodo. You probably need to transfer your cassettes to CD as I have not seen a cassette player on a stereo for several years.I have several vinyl LP’s I want to do the same thing to.As soon as I can get a phonograph hooked up to a CD burner.Once you transfer them to new media archive the cassettes as backups in case of scratches or breakage.I used to have my father’s cabinet stereo (1965 RCA with stereo speakers-An AM-FM radio and a turntable for Records). It took up 3 feet high and 6 feet long,2feet wide.Todays radios are much smaller.
