Hello, I have read that glycerine can be produced using non-animal products. Is there any way of finding out whether or not it is safe?
A As you say, glycerine can be produced from non-animal sources. To find out what the source of glycerine is in a particular product you would need to contact the manufacturer. Some manufacturers will use animal-derived glycerine while others will choose non-animal sources. Unfortunately, it is often difficult to tell from what is written on the packet.
