Hello Alesana, how do you mean the shell looks “dried out” is it just dull in color or is it actually looking dry and crusty? As they get older their shell will start to dull in color, I am not sure about drying out though, because I do not have medical training or any experience when it comes to this topic. If it is dry or crusty and not just dull in color then I suggest finding a vet, but if not then I don’t beleive there is anything to worry about.
