I have a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L and was looking to change the headlights on it. I wanted some info on the watts and Kelvin of the stock Accord headlights – if you guys have it or know where to find it please help, my dealer doesn’t know and it’s not on the Honda website. I would like to keep the same amount of watts, since I don’t want to change the car’s wiring and Accords have ELD which determines how much power will go to the headlights, not having the right wattage might mess with it. Also, does Kelvin just determine temperature? I don’t know anything about this stuff, just want to mod my car a little. A: Actually, Kelvin measures the color temperature of light. The higher color temp you get the bluer the light, but less light output you will have. The lower you go in the Kelvin scale the more yellow you will get.
