Have youever been stunned by anothers kindness and selflessness?

Great question. Yes, I am stunned on a daily basis by the kindness and selflessness, not just of loved ones and friends, but of total strangers. We are not a bad species when you stop concentrating on the tiny minority which is pathological. — Edit: For example, when I was at teacher training college in Glasgow I once got very drunk and was in danger of missing my last train home. I hailed a taxi, then realised I had no money, so asked the driver to take me to an ATM. I was so drunk I punched in the wrong PIN four times and thus lost my card. I burst into tears, and the driver took me to the station free of charge, where I caught my train home. Lots of lessons learned for me there, not least that if you are in trouble, a stranger may help you. It is a beautiful thing.
