Have you talked to Coach Bill Self at Kansas (Jankovich was Self’s assistant for five seasons)?
SG: How would you rate your senior year season? OE: It was one of those up and down seasons for me. It didn’t go how I planned it to go. But being able to play my final season almost injury free without something major happening, was great. I would have loved to go to the [NCAA] Tournament, but it’s not for everybody. It’s not the end of the world. I feel great about the career that I had here. All four years were great. SG: Did you consider transferring after Coach Porter Moser, the coach who recruited you, was replaced by Coach Jankovich? OE: I just got done with my freshman year and was thinking of leaving. [Coach Jankovich] sat me down and told me to give it another chance. He said he’d understand if I wanted to leave. Even before that, I had decided I was staying though. I talked to a lot of people and I wanted to stay at a school for four years, not jump around to others schools like so many big players from Chicago have done. SG: How would you sum up your relationship with Coach
