Have you stopped taking Effexor and experienced the long list of dreaded side effects?

0

Three days ago I stopped taking Effexor after slowly reducing the dosage over the past two months from 300mg to 37.5mg. I have been taking Effexor 150mg for about 7 years now, and have been dreading going off this drug as suggested by my doctor, after about a year of debating whether they actually do anything for me. I am now suffering the long list of side effects. I am so dumb struck as to the complete change in my character in just 24hrs. I have gone from been normal to experiencing, Panic Attacks, unbelievable crazy and scary dreams, nausia, irritability, dizzyness, numbness in my hands, pins and needles, and sever depression. Does anyone know how long this may last ? Can you give me some advice to cope with these feelings? This is so incredibly scary.. A: I had all the same side effects as you but my doctor put me on something else so it wouldn’t be bad. It will probably last a few weeks it took me ages to get of them because i couldn’t cope with the side affects. Good luck.
