Have you read books by Jayne Ann Krentz, aka Jayne Castle, aka Stephanie James, aka Amanda Quick?
I enjoy reading Jayne Ann Krentz in all her incarnations, but then I like reading romance novels. In fact the first romance novel I ever read was Amanda Quick’s “I Thee Wed.” And I like that her pen names correspond to different sub genres so I always know what I’m in for (although most, if not all, of her novels have the heroine and hero teaming up to investigate something, whether the novel is contemporary, paranormal or historical). I admit I haven’t loved her most recent novels, but they are decent. It is interesting how recent Krentz and Quick novels are linked (they crossover) through the Arcane Society (a secret organization that researches paranormal activity). And even recent Castle novels are about a futuristic world called Harmony (a world filled with psychic abilities and alien ruins) whose ancient settlers were from the Arcane Society (or something like that).
