This one is my own and has been my favorite for several years because guests always want the recipe. It’s simple to make. ANNE’S BALSAMIC VINEGRETTE 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon light brown sugar 1 garlic clove, crushed 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil 1 shallot, minced 1/2 tsp. fresh thyme or 1/4 tsp. dried thyme To make the vinaigrette, in a medium bowl whisk balsamic vinegar, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic, salt, pepper, shallot and thyme until mixed. Gradually whisk in the olive oil until smooth. Yield: about 1 cup Hope you like it!
