As a newcomer to the world of die cutting and the Ellison company – I paid, what simple research later proved, higher than retail prices for many of my die. The specific dies I wanted would usually be in high demand and I would not be outbid! My local Michael’s Craft Store carried the die, but the shelves were always empty where the die were meant to be. (If you must shop Michael’s – be sure to locate the weekly ad in your local paper for 40% off a single item.) Interested in purchasing a catalog so that I could pick which die I wanted most of all and to see a better description of the dies I bid on, I contacted Sizzix directly via email on their website. The customer service was highly personable! My request for a catalog was granted and within 3 days the extensive catalog had arrived via USPS mail. SURPRISE! The catalog showed all the various lines, alphabets, machines, ad infinitum…retail prices were listed and I was shocked that you could buy direct from Sizzix and their huge sto
