Have you caught any shit about having a girl singing for a grindcore band?
Matt – Heavier, well thanks! In general people have been totally cool and supportive of us. Grace is obvious a person in our band that makes us fairly unique, especially considering how those brutal sounds come out of here. We do have to deal with the occasional internet predator though. Butler – I wouldn’t say we’ve caught shit. If anything, it brings more attention to the band. But, I do think people sometimes discredit bands with a female frontwoman saying they’re gimmicky etc. Grace has been a friend of mine and Matt’s for a long time, and she sang in a funny band called Osamabinsars. She just has this roaring voice. When Matt and Mike were starting Landmine, Matt decided she needed to be in a real band and asked her to sing.
