Have UK Members of Parliament lost all moral authority?
I have worked at a few places. I know plenty of others who work in myriad working environments. The one conclusion that I, and all those I have questioned about this issue, have arrived at is: Everybody is on the take! In white-collar posts it’s almost expected by both employee & employer alike. Blue collar workers take a great deal less, even if it’s only an envelope twice a year, but they too are mostly on the take; I know there are some saints out there, so don’t go mad with me. This expenses issue is trivial. It is something that the mass media have blown out of all proportion so that rather than considering important global issues – THAT MATTER – we are all, even politicians, thinking of little else other than who’s claiming which expense in government. There are unjust wars happening, they are trying to divide the human race on religious grounds again, just like 1930’s Germany, the reason for which has yet to be revealed.
