Have teachers/professors of business had experience running a business?
some proffessors have had experience running businesses, but most have not. they are theoretical business people, where they think up the strategies of how a business will best work under different market conditions. a true businessman is one who can actually do these tasks in real life but it is worth going to business school as you will get a better understanding of how the business works and what best motivates employees, rival businesses and how to make a successful business. cos you may find that you set up a business and lack sufficient knowledge and then you end up bankrupt.
