Have Servo Savers tried lower discounts than 6¢ per litre and is there any significant difference between 4¢ and 6¢ a litre off?
Our test marketing was done at 4¢ per litre off. Whilst we got redemptions it was not in sufficient numbers to get overly excited. In other words our $1.20 off 30 litres did not win over many current docket users. We then went to 5¢ per litre off per docket, or 15¢ with 3 dockets and in every established market we have exceeded 80% of our weekly target redemption in just 6-10 months. With discounts more is better! Five Servo Savers dockets each saving 6¢ per litre ($1.80) saves our “average” motorist $9.00 per week.
