Have Quacker and Bowen appeared in other mediums?
Quacker and Bowen have appeared in three short films: Quacker Duk in Smoking Butts (a short cartoon), Mother Bates Story Time (A deranged video storybook featuring Quacker and Bowen), and The True Story of Quacker and Bowen (a mockumentary still in production). There is also a feature film script entitled Animal Tracks. The characters appeared in one panel comic called Concord Animals in the Concord Academy Centipede, while Quacker stared in his own strip for a short time when Mark was in 5th grade at the Fessenden School. Finally, Quacker s face makes a cameo appearance on the flag for the Craque Pype Nebulae in the sci-fi series Spaceport Blues. 1.4: Why isn t Opal s name in the title? Though it s true Opal gets more screen time than Bowen, he did not appear in the first few comics. The original title of the comic was Big F-ing Deal, but the Beacon found it offensive and changed it to the main character s names.
