Have catholic parents stopped sending their children to church?
Most of us go to church WITH our children, as a family, and our churches are still full, at least in my area. The number of priests involved in this deplorable behavior, is actually less than ministers and priests in other faiths/denominations. It is a problem in every profession that has involvement with children, including the Boy Scouts. The Catholic Church has taken steps to avoid this kind of behavior in the future. I’m not saying they haven’t made mistakes, but they are finally correcting the problem to prevent it in the future.
