Have anyone heard of Homestart, for their home loan modification?
Have not used Homestart for a modification. As I understand, they are an Australian company. Remember, there is a difference between a modification and a refinance. If you are needing to modify your loan, I would suggest starting with your current lender. I know this is frustrating, to put it mildly. Document all of your attempts as you go through the process. If you want to refinance, let me know and I will refer some great loan officers. Loans are processed under certain guidelines. Just make sure that what you are signing is what you really want.
