Have anyone ever received their tax refund direct depositing using someone elses banking account?. ?
My sister did this several years ago when she lost her bank account due to her constantly overdrawing her checking account (She mistakenly thought that the bank would allow her to repeatedly do this for $20-$60 each month, even though she’d pay the fees back within 3-4 days of the overages). I let her direct deposit her refund to my savings account since I wasn’t using it very often. I had to keep my refund separate to my checking so that we wouldn’t mix up the amounts. It worked fine. I went with her to the bank so she could get the money in cash & she put it on a prepaid MasterCard. As a thank you, she took us to dinner at Claim Jumper. Just be extra careful if you do this & completely trust the person to give you your refund in full.
