Have any unknown bombs dropped during WW2 over England ever exploded suddenly in modern times?
I live in a town called Venhorst it is close to Volkel (a german airfield in ww2) every year there are some english bombs found, however they are always blown up by the dutch army specialists and have never blow up suddenly, they are very dangerous because some of the bombs are discovered during ploughing and that can lead to dangerous situations.
Have not heard of any WW2 unexploded bombs [UXB] exploding inexplicably. Most of these bombs are buried quite deeply, having hit the ground from a great height.
