Have any of you used or owned a Havoc 37mm flare Launcher attached to a M4 or variant?
I build custom and match AR-15’s. Yes, it looks cool. However, I have never, ever, had a need to shoot a flare. Even when I owned my 30 foot sloop and carried flares, well, I would not carry this because the flares and launcher are probably not USCG approved. That, and nearly all ranges forbid shooting of flares. You would only be able to use this on the 4th of July and New Years. Not a sound investment. If you already had a couple of full auto M16’s – and wanted to slap a M4 contour barrel on one to dress it up, sure. Otherwise I am seeing a really bad case of buyer’s remorse after getting it. For the cost of this – you could buy two nice Rock River or other company lowers. Once Obama gets into the white house and the new ban happens – these will become impossible to find at any price. Heck, they are starting to be hard to find now. Hope you don’t buy it.
