Have any departments cancelled four day and reverted to five-day work weeks?

0

Employees have voluntarily switched to five day weeks again. Some supervisors and their employees have concurred that they could provide better service if they stick to five days. The one I’m aware of is the physical plant operation. For example the physical plant supervisor and the vice president and I concurred that we could simply provide better more consistent services if they operate on a five day week. How many employees are currently working four days? Approximately 100. It fluctuates, because we can easily accommodate switching. Will NSU continue the four day schedule? For the foreseeable future we will, as long as we’re able to provide the services. If people consider this to be their preference, I beleive they’ll work diligently to show it. What’s your advice for schools who are considering work week adjustments? Number one, if the organization is flexible, then I recommend they strongly consider the hybrid version where we operate five days a week – and in some areas operate
